Privacy & Security
Is my data safe?
What protections are in place for stored memory data.
Your memory content is encrypted client-side before transmission and stored as ciphertext in a managed Postgres database with pgvector for semantic search over encrypted embeddings.
Infrastructure is hosted on Railway with the database secured behind standard cloud access controls, TLS in transit, and encryption at rest at the storage layer as well as the application-layer encryption described above.
Backups follow the same encryption model — a backup of the database is a backup of ciphertext, not plaintext memories.
See the full Security & Architecture page for a deeper technical breakdown, and the Privacy Policy for how account and billing data (which is separate from memory content) is handled.
