🔧 Client Configuration FAQ

Google OAuth keeps looping back to sign-in. What should I do?

Start login from https://www.deployunimatrix.com/auth/login, verify Google redirect URI is set to https://www.deployunimatrix.com/api/auth/callback/google, and clear stale cookies for deployunimatrix.com.

MCP is connected but my assistant says it can't find tools.

Confirm endpoint is https://www.deployunimatrix.com/api/mcp, Authorization is Bearer umx_..., then restart the client. Run list palaces first before recall/search calls.

My API key returns 401 or 403.

Regenerate your key in settings, copy it exactly (no extra spaces/newlines), and update every client using that key.

Memories save, but they don't show up in new chats.

Your client instructions must explicitly load memory at conversation start. Add list/search/load instructions to your system prompt or rules.

Claude Desktop config changes aren't taking effect.

Re-check JSON syntax in the Claude config file, fully quit/reopen Claude, and verify the app is using the edited config path for your OS.
