Mobile app (iOS & Android)

Unimatrix includes a mobile app built with React Native + Expo that gives you on-the-go access to the same synced memory store — browse, search, and add memories, plus a native onboarding flow with QR-code API-key pairing.

To run it during development, install the Expo Go app on your iPhone or Android device, then from the monorepo root run `pnpm --filter mobile dev`. Scan the QR code Expo prints with Expo Go to open the app, and make sure your phone and computer are on the same network.

Sign in with your Unimatrix email/password or Google / GitHub OAuth. On first launch the app guides you through the same 5-step onboarding as the web app.

By default the app targets `http://localhost:3000/api` for the local web server. To point it at a remote or self-hosted instance, set the `EXPO_PUBLIC_API_URL` environment variable in your Expo/EAS environment before starting the app.

The mobile app supports real-time memory updates: changes you make on any other connected device appear in the app automatically when Ably sync is configured. Without it, memory updates appear on the next manual refresh.
